Here are the highlights of the event

iPad Air: Productivity and Performance

For low-budget iPad users, the new device is a powerhouse. Now it features an M2 chipset. This is the same processor that appeared first in the iPad Pro previously. It is not just hype; the M2 processor, built on 5nm technology, promises a 50% increase in performance and speed.

The A14 Bionic chipset in the previous model may do half the work in a given period.

Displays announced are 11-inch and 13-inch both liquid ink. Users can expect a stunning XDR performance of iPads on these bigger screens.

Ipad Air Design.

Apple’s commitment to sustainability still appears in recycled aluminum bodies for these models. This is a continued move as major companies promised zero carbon production soon

The larger 13-inch display will cater to the needs of professionals. Maybe you are an artist, a teacher or a designer. A wider screen is great for productivity.

Storage

With storage options ranging from 128GB to 1TB, all budget options are catered for.

Prices start at just $599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the 13-inch model. These prices are also fair compared to the previous model with a weaker processor.

2. iPad Pro: It can’t be thinner.

Before even testing this premium performer the slim size catches the eye first. At 0.98 lbs,5.3mm thickness for the 11-inch model and a feather-light 1.28 lbs for the 13-inch. You can’t imagine a better ultra-designed iPad.

Both Pro models have tandem OLED displays. This means two OLED panels were put together to create a brighter screen.

The base brightness is  1000 nits and the peak brightness of 1600 nits delivering an ultra-retina XDR experience. This is way brighter than the 800 nits in the previous models

Performance of iPad Pro 2024

Powered by the M4 processor built on cutting-edge 3nm technology, the iPad Pro will offer the performance that many laptops can wish for. The beauty of this chipset is that it remains power-saving regardless of the tasks it does.

Storage

With storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB, the iPad Pro will store plenty of your files. Especially for creators who have to take a lot of high-resolution videos before editing.

Pro apps

Pro apps like Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro were included to make a creator’s work easier. From capturing and editing videos to producing music—all in these apps.

Enhanced Accessories for Maximum Productivity.

The innovation doesn’t stop with the iPads themselves. Apple has also introduced upgrades to its accessories lineup;

The new Magic Keyboard with a function key row for more convenience and productivity.

The Apple Pencil Pro takes creativity to new levels. Unlike before it allows you to create custom features for specific jobs.Whether you are an artist or a design professional.

Prices of iPad Pro 2024

Starting at $999 for the iPad Pro 11-inch and $1299 for the 13-inch model. You will have to pay more costs for the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro. In the future hopefully, we may not have to buy these separately.

Rumors about the iPhone 16

We all waited for the highlight of the year about the iPhone 16 but nothing was mentioned. Now all eyes are on the WWDC24 event from  June 10 to 14.

At that event, we hope to know more about Apple’s developments on iPhone 16. Will it be powered by AI or it will stick to Apple’s norm? Me and you should wait to find out.

I believe Samsung raised the bar with the Galaxy s24 Ultra. For anything to be major, the iPhone 16 should be bigger.

What do you think of the new iPads?
