Huawei MatePad Pro a 13.2-inch tablet is made for you.

By aesthetics, it looks like Samsung S9 Ultra but is not alike in performance.
With a query on its processor let us delve deeper and see all it is made of.

User Experience
Design
The tablet’s back panel is made of scratch-resistant glass fiber that feels premium and has a well-finished plastic frame.
It has some text due to the glass panel that won’t show fingerprints easily. The protective case sticks to the back magnetically, but more care is required as it’s not so stable when shaken.
For those who prefer taking notes, a light high-precision stylus pen writes smoothly on the canvas. If you wish to switch to laptop mode, a detachable, flat, comfortable keyboard is available at an extra cost.
The frame has 3 microphones and 6 speakers are visible but lacks an SD, SIM, and audio jack provisions.
The absence of an SD slot is forgivable, but an audio jack could not be missed as most users buy tablets for media consumption.
Hopefully, Huawei will bring an upgrade to this model with these provisions.
Display
This giant tablet gets most of its credit from this area. A 13.2-inch canvas is large enough to have four usable tabs at the same time. Writers, readers, and artists benefit more from the big responsive screen.
The bezels are thin, about 2mm from the frame, so the writing area isn’t compromised.
This screen gives the user a 94% screen-to-body ratio, providing more space for the writing canvas.
The screen is bright, sharp, and vibrant, with excellent contrast and viewing angles for drawing and watching your content.
The display is protected by a protective glass, and it is dustproof. This suggests it is strong, but it is not fully water-resistant
Performance
In a reader’s world where a simple reading or writing application is okay, the Kirin 9000s processor has no issues.
We are talking about people who don’t play games on the tablet.
If you are a competitive gamer, this may not suit you since it becomes sluggish when running at 60 frames per second.
This mid-range category performance comes from the 7nm chipset that clocks at just 2.35GHz CPU speed.
If Huawei used a Snapdragon 888, we could be praising it because the tablet is nice in most features.
No complaints about the RAM. 12 GB is sufficient to support everyday performance with not more than 4 tabs open at the same time.
The given storage can store enough files, but lacking an SD card is a negative.
This tablet runs on Harmony OS 4, which is smooth and responsive, but it comes with pre-installed apps, most of which are for advertising.
You can decide to uninstall them if you wish to
Battery
Just like most tablets, a big 5050 mAh battery, when fully charged, lasts for a day with light use like reading.
When you utilize the resources from refresh rate and high screen resolution to speakers, you have a maximum of 6 hours.
The 88W hyper charger charges it in 65 minutes to full charge and supports 15W wireless charging.
Camera
Huawei MatePad 13.2 Pro has a two-camera system at the back.
- 13MP main camera
- 8MP ultra-wide camera.
The photos are decent but not so impressive which is acceptable for this category.
It struggles in low light conditions and perfect light there is a balance in the colour tone.
You can take decent selfies and have clear video calls or lectures, with natural skin tones and smooth effects with the 16MP front camera.
Audio
Huawei MatePad Pro has six stereo speakers that deliver loud sound and are clear enough but not applausible.
On the bad side it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack therefore a Bluetooth connection is required for the external audio experience.
Connectivity
Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 inch supports:
Bluetooth 5.2|Wi-Fi 5Hz/2Hz
Conclusion
The Huawei MatePad 13.2-inch Pro is a great tablet that offers a lot of features to improve your creativity.
But it has a few drawbacks:
- Preinstalled annoying apps and lacks the Google Play store.
- No headphone jack
- It’s not water-resistant
If you are looking for a tablet that is good for everyday use such as web browsing, social media, reading, or drawing, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 inch is worth considering.
