The Surface Laptop 5 has a stunning Aluminium body that feels premium and smooth.
- Only 1.545 kg and 244 mm thick.
- 15-inch IPS display 2496X1664 pixels and 3:2 aspect ratio.
- 10-point multi-touch, Gorilla® Glass 5
The bezels are super thin, giving the laptop a screen-to-body ratio of 84%. The display is nice and sharp, with nice colours and wide viewing angles.
Keyboard
The keyboard and touchpad are also very comfortable to use.
- Large and responsive keys
- Very nice key travel distance and feedback.
- Moving keys
- Windows key and dedicated buttons for media controls, and screen brightness.
The keyboard is also backlit, which works well in low-light conditions.
The touchpad is smooth and precise, supporting multi-touch gestures and Windows Precision drivers.
The laptop has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button to boot up quickly and securely.

The Surface Laptop 5 is powered by:

This processor can easily handle multitasking, web browsing, video streaming, and all office work.

It has 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 LPDR4 RAM and 256GB,512 GB or 1 TB of SSD storage.
The laptop comes with pre-installed Windows 11 Home and useful apps from Microsoft.
Battery
The battery life lasts up to 17 hours on a single charge. The laptop charges fast from 0 to 45% in just 30 minutes.
It comes with a compact and versatile 60W USB-C charger.
Ports and Connectivity
On the left side, there is a 1XUSB-C thunderbolt port (delivers 60Gbps,100W), a USB-A port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
On the right side, there is a surface connection.
The laptop also has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity.
Audio
The sound quality of the Surface Laptop 5 is due to the Omnisonic® Speakers with Dolby® Atmos™Footnote4.
This creates a more balanced and realistic audio experience.
